What are the penalties for refusing to take a test to dtermine whether or not you are intoxicated? What type of insurance must you have on motor vehicles with four or more wheels??? I'll give you ten points! this is florida law!|||Refusal to submit to a dui test is basically the same exact thing as a DUI and charged the same with insurance companies. Unless you can get that violation plead down to a lesser violation.
Florida law requires that you carry PD/PIP coverage. $10,000 PD (property damage) and $10,000 PIP (personal injury protection). However this is HORRIBLE coverage. You should always have bodily injury and uninsured motorist coverage as well and have limits increased above the state mandated limits.
